Altoona Area Business Community January Meeting
Altoona Area Business Community
"Enhancing Economic Development through Converting Church Facilities into an Arts Center."
Join us for our first networking event of 2021! This event will be an exciting opportunity to kick-off the new year. EVERYONE IS WELCOME!
You can participate and network in two easy ways. We will be meeting January 12th in person at the ArtsAltoona Center, 2212 6th Avenue, Altoona, at 6:00 PM. We will also be providing a virtual ZOOM meet and greet.
In-person or virtually, you will have the opportunity to network with fellow business owners, get updates on local issues that matter to you, and explore with ArtsAltoona’s Donna Gority and George Sackandy as they share their new facility with a live and virtual tour.
ArtsAltoona, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, captures the essence of what makes Blair county an extraordinary and innovative place to live, work, and play. We work with community leaders to serve and inspire a more creative region.
Culture and creativity are built into everything we do, from the way we envision new opportunities and evaluate outcomes to the way we collaborate across programs and cultivate deep partnerships.
ArtsAltoona has a variety of initiatives benefitting the residents of Blair County, from an After-School Arts Program to the redevelopment of the campus formerly known as the Simpson-Temple United Parish buildings into a community arts center, to our county-wide events calendar.
ArtsAltoona believes that Blair County truly is the Heart of Art in Central Pennsylvania!
