Opening Event of our Decades-History Series !

The Roaring 1920s

The 3rd decade of the 20th Century started off on a high-note.
WW1 had just ended, women gained the right to vote, and many key inventions made life more comfortable. But the 1920s were also an "in between Decade", sandwiched between the horrors of World War I and the the poverty and dismay of the Great Depression.

Harald Dertinger presents pictures, facts and information on key events, people and historic moments of the 1920s.
From Prohibition to the discovery of Tutankamun's grave and golden treasures, to the Wall Street Crash of 1929.

Re-live, and learn about the 1920s during this free admission, 1-hour presentation.

The Decades-History Series will continue on Thursday, February 17th with a presentation on the 1930s.
